A scenic musical performance moving about the installation „Wachstum“ („growth“) by Sven Widmer, with music by Organic Patterns (David Leuthold, trombone / composition, Chili Romer, saxophones / composition).
Im Spannungsfeld von Technik und Natur wachsen Pflanzen auf Erdhaufen genährt von den vier Elementen (Wasser / Wind / Erde / Feuer). Und wir – Beobachter, Handelnde – schaffen mit, stimmen uns ein, suchen den Ton der Erde, lauschen dem Klang des Windes und fragen nach dem rechten Mass: Stille und Klang, Rhythmus und Chaos, Alleingang und Dialog.
At the interface between technology and nature, plants are growing on on mounds of soil, nurtured by the four elements air, water, fire and earth. We – observers and actors – collaborate and attune; searching for the tone of the earth, listening to the sound of the wind, asking for the right measure: Sound and silence, rhythm and chaos, solo or dialogue.
